School Governors.

We currently have two vacancies for Parent Governors. Governors meet at least once every term to make important decisions for all our children. If you feel you may be interested in becoming a parent governor and would like some further information then please speak to Mrs Hickey.

Next week is 'Walk to School Week' I realise that for some children walking all the way to school isn't possible. However the idea isn't all about not using the car and saving the environment. One idea is to park a short distance from school an walk or cycle part of the way. This has health benefits and eases congestion near to school. Is car sharing a possibility for some children?

Next week we will be recording how children come to school. The results are used as part of our 'Travel Plan'. We have achieved level 3 status with our travel plan.
